It's a nice laptop. It's my first so I really don't have much to compare it to. I did, however, have pc's for the past 15 years and if you were to compare laptop to pc, I would for sure like. It's fast, has neat options, pretty user friendly and was recommended to me by a self admitted lifetime puter geek friend of mine. He said that it's the best laptop he could think of for gaming online at a great value (I bought with the possibility of using for EQ2) and with 4g ram and tri core processor it can run the best MMORPG games. With an adapter (verizon over charges for 5g of data and especially if you go over. they didnt like unlimited. they couldnt rip ppl off for overage anymore) for wireless on the go internet, I can get on the internet as we are driving down the freeway. Battery life sucks but again, I have nothing to compare it to. But overall, I am happy with it.

Easy to carry along but hard to clean it up! - BoneCrash -
This is my first laptop computer I purchased on Amazon. It's not so heavy, which is very good for me to carry it along at school. Basically it's good for me, since I don't play games and seldom watch HD moive on it. For guys who would like to travel around and are in the need of working on some basic computer stuff, like editing files and surf the internet,this laptop is your best choice. But for guys who want to play HALO or watch AVATOR on it, PLEASE choose another one! Don't bother even think about it!
One more thing, this laptop is really easy to get dirty. Even you wash your hands every often, it still get finger pints all over it. Sometimes it really pisses me off when I had to clean the surface up again and again!

I am not a computer expert by any means, but I always buy Toshiba. This model is light and efficient for all my needs. I do not game play, so this one fits what I use it for, which is photoshop and word processing. So far I have found nothing to complain about. It is quiet, fast, and doesn't heat up. My only wish would be that Toshiba make all their cases a bit more matte. The shiny black surface does attract tons of fingerprints and it can appear untidy without extra care. This has nothing to do with the way it runs, just me wishing for a different case.

Gave this computer a 4 star because it is really a great computer and performed as advertised with exception that the battery did not hold a charge. Had the battery worked I would have given it 5 stars. I sent it back to Amazon for a full refund.
